Supervised driving sessions

Depending on which country your driving licence is from, you may have to take a test drive. If you have a driving licence and want to drive a car or other motor vehicle in Switzerland, you need a Swiss driving licence.

You will have 12 months to exchange your licence from the date of entry. After 12 months, you are no longer allowed to drive in Switzerland until you have converted your driving licence. Please submit your application in time.

The supervised drive is similar to a driving test. It shows that you know the traffic rules and can drive a car safely.
