Terms and conditions (GTC)
In the following text only the masculine form is used, the feminine form is always included.
These terms and conditions comes into force with every registration (verbal, phone, SMS, WhatsApp or e-mail) and ends automatically after passing the driving test.
The guarantee
The driving instructor providing training is state-certified and holds a driving instructor's licence.
The training is carried out according to current methods and didactic principles.
The driving school undertakes to provide proper training that meets the requirements of the Road Traffic Office. However, there is no guarantee of obtaining a driving licence.
Driving lessons
A lesson takes at least 50 minutes. This includes the welcome, theoretical and practical lessons, discussions and appointments. A one-off administration and insurance fee of CHF 100.00 is charged from the 2nd driving lesson, this is valid until the training is completed and will not be refunded, even if the learner changes driving school. The driving school will retain the right of recourse if there are signs of reckless conduct. Cancellations of driving lessons must be made 24 hours in advance by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or e-mail, otherwise they will be charged. If the driving instructor was not informed of the delay, he is not obliged to wait longer after a waiting time of 15 minutes. This lesson will also be charged. A valid learner's driver licence for category B or BE must be held at all times. All driving lessons are filled in the appointment sheet for your overview. Driving lessons only take place with suitable footwear, no flip-flops or high heels allowed.
Vouchers and discount
Vouchers are only valid with the signature of Driving School Wiedmer.
After you have completed your lessons at Driving School Wiedmer, the discount of CHF 50.00 will be paid out. This offer is only valid for people who currently possess a category B learner's driver licence.
Vehicles
For safety reasons, driving lessons are only given on vehicles with double pedals. Exceptions are only possible by special arrangement. The Driving School Wiedmer accepts no liability for learning and practice drives in private vehicles.
Suspension from lessons and penalties
Lessons may be cancelled by the driving school if you are unable to drive due to fatigue, alcohol, medication or drugs. In such cases, no refund will be made. Any penalties imposed due to serious fault on the part of the student driver and other damages will be charged to the student driver in full.
Terms of payment
Driving lessons must be paid in cash or by TWINT. Lesson packages can also be paid by payment form within 5 days. Further driving lessons will only take place after receipt of the remaining amount. Invoices must be paid within 10 days.
Collection fees and charges
A processing fee of CHF 20.00 will be charged for payment reminders and reminders by registered letter. Debt collection proceedings are charged at CHF 50.00 and all costs of the debt collection office, including default interest of 5 per cent, are charged to the debtor.
Legal liability
Claims for damages against Driving School Wiedmer only apply if it has caused damage intentionally or through rough fault.
Validity
Driving School Wiedmer reserves the right to add to or change these GTC in the future.
Place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of venue is the registered office of Driving School Wiedmer.
